Attention Trend Spotters – Transfer Tattoos the latest beauty must have!

Chanel sent its models down the Spring/Summer 2010 Catwalk covered in transfer tattoos, closely followed by Rodarte and Jean Paul Gaultier confirming that body art is set to become the hottest new beauty craze of the season. Models sported chain and pearl designs around wrists, necklines, thighs often in lieu of jewellery for an effect that was both delicate and whimsical while creating a sophisticated edge.

It is nothing new for a celebrity to be seen with a new tattoo in fact it is almost de rigueur if you want to make the A-List. Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie to name just a few are already tattoo enthusiasts but this new, more temporary take on the trend allows us all to join in. Now we can adorn our skin with intricate designs without the pain, and in the knowledge that it can be replaced with an equally attractive piece within a few days.

A fabulous collection of exclusive skin jewellery is now available in Ireland designed and hand made in France by Ines de Castilho. Ines worked with Christian Dior and YSL before launching her own Skin Jewellery range. The collection consists of ultra feminine pieces with a light openwork texture which can be worn for a minimum of four days.

Each piece is covered in delicate glitter and Swarovski Crystals are placed individually by hand. The various designs are available in four colours (Black, Silver, Gold and White.) The tattoos are approved by the French Food and Drugs Administration and are hypoallergenic, waterproof and adhesive.

Prices range from €14.95 for a bracelet or neck piece up to €55.95 for the exquisite Niagara Pearls (perfect for Wedding or Evening wear). Each jewel comes in a package with a leaflet explaining how and where to apply. There's also Free Delivery within the EU.

Skin Jewellery is the perfect accessory for Valentines’s Day and with this in mind www.brastraps.ie are offering a 3 for 2 Special Offer which applies to all products on the website up to and including 14 February, 2010
