Brown Thomas Crowns Most Stylish Lady
at Goffs Millions Race Day at The Curragh
TV presenter Amanda Byram and star of TV3’s Total Xposure, Michael O’Doherty, joined Stacey O’Donnell of Brown Thomas to crown Elaine Bennett from Dublin the winner of the Brown Thomas Most Stylish Lady competition at the Goffs Millions Race Day at The Curragh. The winner received an incredible €20,000 spending spree in Brown Thomas, making this one of the richest style competitions in Ireland.
Crowds of more than 10,000 enjoyed the day and cheered home the €1million winners of the top two races - the Goffs Million Mile Lucky General (Jockey Richard Hughes and Trainer Richard Hannon) and the Goffs Million Sprint Shakespearean (Jockey Mark Johnston and Trainer John Fanning). The Goffs Millions Race Day carries a total prize fund of €3.2million.
Attendees included Ronan and Yvonne Keating; actor David Keoghan; Eimear Mulhern, Henry Beeby and Elaine Lawlor of Goffs; Leinster rugby coach Alan Gaffney and his wife Lorraine; Tamso Doyle of Horse Racing Ireland, Celia Holman Lee, Eamon Dunphy, Xpose’s Lisa Cannon; Brown Thomas Marketing Director Moira Murphy, Dawn Allison from Ketel One, Eva Maria Haefner of Moyglare Stud and John Magnier, who had a horse running on the day. Eminent trainers Jim Bolger, Dermot Weld, Aidan O’Brien and Fozzy Stack also attended.
The Brown Thomas Champagne Bar hosted the thirty finalists for the Most Stylish Lady competition and the Estée Lauder Beauty Rooms were once again on hand to offer ladies make-overs and touch-ups throughout the day. Over at the Goffs Pavilion, guests enjoyed exclusive Ketel One Goffs Million Martinis which were created especially to celebrate this year’s Goffs Millions Race Day.
